Harold O’Shea Builders, established in 1902 by John O’Shea, as John O’Shea and Son, is still a family run business in Springfield. Now with third-generation David "Bud" O’Shea as CEO and fourth-generation Michael O’Shea as President, the company looks forward to successful construction projects for decades to come. The name Harold O’Shea builders comes from Bud’s Dad, Harold who was John’s Son, the second generation. They also now have a 5th generation family member working for the company, Bud’s grandson, David. Bud is very proud of the continuing family tradition.

In an interview with one of the three new Vice Presidents of Harold O’Shea, Jeff Jarrett, it is clear that this company is moving forward with innovative ideas as well as a commitment for excellence. Jeff joined Harold O’Shea in 1987 as an apprentice out of Local #16. Since that time Jeff has been promoted to Project Superintendent, Project Manager and now Vice President. This is definitely a company that believes in promoting from within. Jeff’s entire career as a union carpenter has been under the employment of Harold O’Shea. He continues to lead their project teams with an eye to quality, efficiency and always meeting client’s needs.

One of Harold O’Shea’s most recent projects is the new addition to Springfield Clinic. It is definitely changing the landscape of South 6th Street.
